Some Updates

First here’s Dan on the slavery apology. And, though I think that apology is a good idea, that doesn’t mean I think all apologies are a good idea, or even rationale ideas:

To the world’s leaders and people,

We, the people of Canada who support marriage solely as the union of a man and a woman, apologize to the people of the world for harm done through Canada’s legalization of homosexual marriage.

Boy, its about time. I was just soooo offended back in . . . , uh, er, when was it again that they legalized gay marriage? Whatever. Even if I was not aware of it at the time, and have never spent a second’s time thinking about it since then, the mere existence of these ”marriages” has clearly undermined my own. Sure my wife and I are about to celebrate another anniversary, and sure we just had our first kids, and sure we still enjoy each other’s company. But think of how much more happy we would be if all those gay people were miserable. The nerve of those Canadians.
